Medoc Wine


The Medoc is probably the most famous red wine district in Bordeaux. Wines produced in this area may qualify for appellations such as Margaux, Moulis, Listrac, St-Julien, Pauillac and St-Estephe, as well as Haut-Medoc and Bas-Medoc. It is traditionally said that the best vines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc) of the area grow within sight of the Gironde.
