To increase your wine sales, your walk-in traffic, and your visibility on the internet - Sponsor Wine-Searcher. Sponsorship promotes your business directly to keen wine buyers while they are in the process of selecting wines. We have more than half a million buyers use the site every month.

Sponsorship applies to the "Free-for-use" part of Wine-Searcher. This part of the site is used by 97% of visitors. Sponsorship guarantees:

• Premium Coverage: If a wine can be located among our sponsors, we do not show other retailers' wines. This filtering provides an immediate increase in sales by making your wines more visible (see the "How the Site Works" section of our "About Us" page for detail). The filtering also applies to our "Regions Pages".

• Targeted Advertising Displays: As a sponsor, you also receive banner displays targeted by country and wines to visitors most likely to be of value to your business. The exact number of displays is variable as our software allocates you more impressions if you are likely to receive fewer than 750 referrals/month from the premium coverage. A monthly email lets you know the exact number of displays you achieved.

• Advert Design: Banners are the 'Full Banner' IAB standard size (468x60 pixels and under 15K). Here are a few banner examples. They can be jpeg or gif format and may be animated. Multi-media formats such as shockwave are not supported. If you have no banner, once payment has been taken, we will prepare a simple one for you. This will be your name, location and telephone number in black lettering on a plain white background. You may send us a replacement banner whenever you wish.

• Further Highlighting: Within the Pro Version of Wine-Searcher (the subscription part of the site designed to show all the suppliers we can locate for a wine), sponsors' names are shown in bold type.

If your price list contains fewer than 500 items, a reduced rate is available. Refer to our small sponsors' page for details. A special rate for wineries is also available.

To become a sponsor, please print out and fax us this form to authorize payment by credit card. Alternatively, if you are paying for sponsorship for six months or more, you may pay by check (complete our request for invoice to do this). As soon as payment is received, you will show as a Wine-Searcher sponsor on the site.

Guarantee Period: For the twelve, six, or three month sponsorship options, there is a three week, no quibble, money back guarantee period allowing you to ensure that Wine-Searcher is of value to your business.

Note: After your first sponsorship period has ended, if your business received a very high number of referrals from us, we reserve the right to individually negotiate sponsorship rates.
